commonly known as Trombetta dei Morti - Thrumoet of the Deads
Although the name, this beautiful and delicate mushrooms, does not bring to death, it is not poison at all. It is actually delicious. Here it is a recipe:
CROSTINI CON TROMBETTE, SALSICCIA E STRACCHINO
Ingredients for 4:
200 gr fresh black thrumpets
1 Italian sausage
40 gr extra virgin olive oil
1 garlic clove, minced
1 spoon minced parsley
salt
60 gr fresh Stracchino cheese
1 baguette bread
Open the thrumpets and clean them well. Cut in pieces and cook them with the crumbled sausage, garlic and parsley, olive oil and salt for about 10 minutes.
Meanwhile slice the bread thinly.
Take the sauce off the burner, mix in the Stracchino cheese.
Spread the mixture on the slices of bread.
Bake at 180° c for about 6-7 minutes. Serve hot as appetizer.
