Something about GiglioCooking, written by Sharon Bayer

Spent a few hours today, with my husband and 2 kids (13 & 15), at the Giglio Cooking School as part of my husband's 50th birthday celebration in Italy. It was the first of 2 lessons and we can hardly wait for tomorrow! Marcella is so nice and, above all, super-professional. She will take your dietary needs and taste into consideration as well as availability of ingredients in your local area so you can recreate the dishes at home. I was especially impressed by the cleanliness and fresh design of the space. Tomorrow's lesson will begin with a visit to the market then on to the school to prepare a festive birthday lunch. If you'd like to do something different and fun whilst in Florence, I highly recommend Giglio for some great fun!
