The Wine with the Scent of the Sea

Above the beach...

at 350 mt on sea level

.... the vineyards grow..

..almost vertical on certain clifts, and always on a rough territory, where the ground had to be taken inside sacs, with donkeys.

This is the Island of the Ansonica, the grapes of the ancient Greeks.

For two days, at the end of September, the Island celebrates its history, its culture, its strong, amber unique wine.

Inside the majestic medieval walls of the Castello, all the cellars open their doors:
