The New Year has just
begun with the good resolutions that all of us make.
The resolution of
GiglioCooking is One: being better …although better means a lot of things:
Being even more
authentic than we have been.
Proposing even more “true” programs, recipes ,
ingredients.
Working even more to pursue the reason the school was
born for.
I can go on forever ,
listing all the good thoughts.
But I will stop to propose something concrete:
A special program in
collaboration with the hotel La Guardia https://laguardiahotel.it/ Giglio Island,
Tuscany.
You will discover a piece of authentic Italy throught its foods, while cuddled in the comfort of terraces and windows with the most
spectacular view on the sea.

The aim is:

Relaxing.
Yes : to find the real, deep, relax and peace

Taking
hikes. Depending the season and the weather, the guests would take a boat
trip for fishing, a trekking path to a steep vineyard, a lesson on history and
nature of the island, pick edible grass…..

Cooking!
And then eating the meal they produce with the ingredients of the island ( “0 miles”, or “farm to table”
as we say today
